Drug Testing & Medical Monitoring

Often employers in the construction and light industrial industries require special medical and drug control policies for personnel.  Sequence maintains a drug control policy and medical monitoring program for all applicable contract employees.

We promote a drug-free workplace.  Before working on your site, all employee submittals (per your requirements) will receive a 10-panel Non-NIDA drug screening.  In addition, all environmental personnel who work under the provisions of 29 CFR 1910.120 will receive a pre-employment physical exam.  All medical monitoring is performed through our approved medical health care providers.

Environmental physicals include:

  • Patient history review
  • Physical exam
  • Spirogram
  • Lab work
  • Electrocardiogram
  • Chest X-Ray (PA only)

If a contract employee fails any part of the above exam, he or she will be restricted from performing any job-related duties under 29 CFR 1910.120.  Only personnel who are in compliance with OSHA regulations and your requirements are placed on your worksite. These same OSHA personnel will also receive an annual physical to assure compliance with these requirements.
