Industrial Engineer

Industrial engineers are concerned with the design, improvement and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, equipment and energy.  They draw upon specialized knowledge and skill in the mathematical, physical and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems.

Simply put, industrial engineers determine the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production—people, machines, materials, information, and energy—to make a product or provide a service.  They are primarily concerned with increasing productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization, and technology.

Thus, industrial engineers are an integral part of the engineering, environmental and construction industries.

Sequence is the industrial engineering industry recruiting leader.

Because of our long involvement and association with the industrial engineering sector, we have developed a distinctive knowledge and understanding of the vital role these engineers provide the construction, engineering and environmental industries.  Sequence is the premier executive recruiting and staffing firm committed to providing employment solutions to these major industries around the globe.

To maximize efficiency, industrial engineers carefully study the product requirements and design manufacturing and information systems to meet those requirements with the help of mathematical methods and models.  They develop management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.

They also design or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services and determine the most efficient plant locations.  Industrial engineers develop wage and salary administration systems and job evaluation programs.

We will find you the right industrial engineer the first time, every time.

We believe knowing and understanding the technical and professional nuances of the industrial engineering vocation are very important, and it is what makes Sequence standout from others in our industry.  Our team of experienced, highly skilled recruiters and staffing professionals has broad industry experience, and they know industrial engineering.
