Sequence is currently seeking a Practice Group Leader / Environmental Planner to lead the states fastest growing Energy Practice Groups in the southern California marketplace.

Candidates should have at least 10+ years experience in providing environmental planning / CEQA compliance for a portfolio of energy and industrial projects throughout the Southern California marketplace. Directing all aspects of a energy practice group that encompass power/transmission lines, natural gas pipelines, refineries, geothermal, and wind/solar projects. This will include providing group technical direction, divisional business development, budgeting, project scoping, and staff mentoring for the western United States group operations.

Must have strong working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulatory requirements; including California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Air Act, Section 404, 401 and other laws and regulations applicable to natural resource management in southern California.

Position requires a degree in environmental planning, biology, science or related discipline. Masters preferred. AICP registration is desired. Candidates must excellent verbal and written communication abilities and have demonstrated leadership abilities in leading divisional operations for group profitability.
